Julie Surina

Regional Planner

Julie Surina is currently the Regional Planner for EPCOG, where she assists with the management of two regional transportation planning organizations (RTPOs) in the southeast and northeast half of eastern New Mexico and assists with planning, land use, technical assistance, policy development, economic development, project management, and community development.

Julie was formally the Sales, Event & Marketing Manager for the Clovis Civic Center. Prior to moving back to Clovis she lived in Lubbock, TX and worked non-profit for American Cancer Society as the Event Coordinator.

Julie is a 2023 Graduate from Leadership Clovis and is a Clovis Chamber Ambassador member. Julie is a Clovis High School graduate, while there she played Varsity soccer and softball and loved to sing in her chorale and won various All State awards. After high school she graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with her bachelor’s in communications and an emphasis in history. While attending she was part of the News Channel 3 production on campus.

When Julie isn’t working, you can find her spending time with her family and being “Chaos Manager” to her triplets. She has 2 girls and a boy. In her spare time Julie enjoys all sports and plays softball and soccer. She is currently playing softball on a women’s and coed team. One of her favorite things to do is cook and create dishes out of random items.
